Experiment Leads

  • Mast Cells & Hormones

    Alida Tomaszewski (Founder, art-techpreneur)

A simple tic bite in Queensland as a young child led me down a crazy path of immune system dysfunction. Within this, the onset of puberty brought about a disabling response to the cyclical nature of estrogen & progesterone. My father, now retired, worked as a specialist in obstetrics & gynaecology for 46 years and, over the entirety of my life thus far, educated me about the complexities of the hormonal system. I went on to deep dive into the field of Neuroimmunology, and was mentored by Professor Kate Stern who, during my own neuroimmune response to hormonal shifts, encouraged my research. Recovery only came through my own self-directed study, and then seeking out the doctors I knew would support me in my experimentation.

My goal is to arm patients with the knowledge they need in order advocate for themselves, to demand the care and treatments they want to try.

I also recommend getting a Djungelskog.

  • Detox & Diet

Chris Sharpham (CFS Blogger & Light Saber Enthusiast)

I was diagnosed with ME/CFS in early 2001, after suffering from a mysterious and excruciating digestive and detox disorder - from which I nearly died. This led me to dive head first into ceaseless research into metabolic health, detoxification, methylation, and natural therapies.

For 20 years I’ve been in deep discussions with the exceptional minds of Dr Wicks, Dr Donohoe, Blake Graham PhD, and Margaret Jasinska. Under their guidance (and sometimes not) I experimented with almost every diet-change conceivable. I found what works for me, but also came to the conclusion that because we are all so different, no single diet works for everyone. However, taking note what is triggering symptoms, can improve the quality of your life significantly.

Along with diet change (which was a game-changer for me), detox therapies had the most significant effect on my own health.

I’ve been active in ME/CFS communities for decades, and very much enjoy helping others by sharing my hard won knowledge. Different protocols work for different people, and I’m passionate about helping you figure that out.

  • Neurotransmitters

Aristea Massaras (ME/CFS Consultant, and noise maker)

I have a background in Bio-Engineering and have gone into the depths of research on ME/CFS in order to successfully heal myself from 9 years of chronic immune activation, post-EBV infection in 2012. I am an experienced research assistant with a history of working in the Life Sciences industry including Laboratory Conception & Management, Cancer Research, & Immunology. I am skilled in Cell Culture, Flow Cytometry, Animal Experimentation and Microscopy among others, and spent 3 years building and managing an Immunology of Cancer research laboratory at the University of Geneva.

It is now time to share my research & findings so that all ME/CFS patients worldwide can better understand what is happening to them and finally start healing themselves after being endlessly gaslit & neglected by the medical community for decades.
